Emmy made her wedding dress from several vintage silk piano shawls. She made her headdress using vintage necklaces, a 1920’s beaded piece and a rose chain dipped in resin.
The intention for her wedding creations was for Emmy to express her spirituality and passion for recycling, while pushing her craft to the limit by making custom silk garments. A blend of modern witch and laid back hippie, this collection is one of a kind.
Justin’s jacket is also made from a vintage piano shawl and is an all whites version of a band jacket.
Emmy put her brand on pause to spend the entire year making the wedding collection. She made her dress, her headdress, her reception jacket, the groom’s jacket, 4 bridesmaids dresses with headpieces, one flower girl dress and two mothers’ of the couple gowns. Everything was made with recycled materials. She also made decor for the reception (fairy garland and a fringe arbor drape) as well as Orgonite pyramids for each guest! As a child, Emmy always rated her dresses based on “spin” quality, as you can see, this dress was her ultimate dream.
